Air Fryer Turkey

Ingredients
- 1 whole turkey (approximately 12 pounds)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1 teaspoon dried sage
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Rinse the turkey under cold water and pat it dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, mix together the salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, dried thyme, dried rosemary, and dried sage.
- Rub the olive oil all over the turkey, making sure to coat it evenly.
- Sprinkle the seasoning mixture all over the turkey, ensuring that it is well coated.
- Place the turkey in the air fryer basket, breast side down.
- Cook the turkey in the air fryer for 30 minutes.
- After 30 minutes, carefully flip the turkey using tongs or spatulas, so that the breast side is facing up.
- Continue cooking the turkey for another 30 minutes.
- Check the internal temperature of the turkey using a meat thermometer. It should read 165°F (74°C) in the thickest part of the thigh.
- If the turkey is not yet fully cooked, continue cooking for another 5-10 minutes, checking the temperature regularly.
- Once the turkey is cooked, remove it from the air fryer and let it rest for 20 minutes before carving.
- Carve the turkey and serve it with your favorite sides.
