Ingredients

  • 1 whole turkey (approximately 12 pounds)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon dried sage

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Rinse the turkey under cold water and pat it dry with paper towels.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, dried thyme, dried rosemary, and dried sage.
  4. Rub the olive oil all over the turkey, making sure to coat it evenly.
  5. Sprinkle the seasoning mixture all over the turkey, ensuring that it is well coated.
  6. Place the turkey in the air fryer basket, breast side down.
  7. Cook the turkey in the air fryer for 30 minutes.
  8. After 30 minutes, carefully flip the turkey using tongs or spatulas, so that the breast side is facing up.
  9. Continue cooking the turkey for another 30 minutes.
  10. Check the internal temperature of the turkey using a meat thermometer. It should read 165°F (74°C) in the thickest part of the thigh.
  11. If the turkey is not yet fully cooked, continue cooking for another 5-10 minutes, checking the temperature regularly.
  12. Once the turkey is cooked, remove it from the air fryer and let it rest for 20 minutes before carving.
  13. Carve the turkey and serve it with your favorite sides.
