- 1 lb ground beef or lamb

- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika

- 6 cups chicken or beef broth

- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 cup plain yogurt
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground meat, rice, onion, garlic, egg, parsley, dill, salt, pepper, paprika, and oregano.
- Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
- Shape the mixture into small meatballs, about the size of a walnut.
- In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the meatballs in batches and brown them on all sides. This should take about 5-7 minutes per batch.
- Once browned, remove the meatballs from the pot and set them aside.
- In the same pot, add the chicken or beef broth and bring it to a boil.
- Reduce the heat to a simmer and carefully add the browned meatballs back into the pot.
- Cover and let the soup simmer for about 30 minutes, until the meatballs are cooked through and the rice is tender.
- In a small bowl, combine the lemon juice, flour, and yogurt.
- Whisk until smooth and well combined.
- Slowly add the yogurt mixture to the soup, stirring continuously to prevent curdling.
- Let the soup simmer for an additional 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
