Ingredients
- 12 oz (340g) pasta (penne or fettuccine works great)
- 2 cups sliced mushrooms (button or cremini)
- 2 cups Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until they start to brown, about 5-7 minutes. Add the minced garlic and cook for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
