This Alfredo Taco Bake is a delightful fusion of creamy Alfredo sauce and the bold flavors of a classic taco. Perfect for a family dinner, this dish serves 4 people and is sure to be a hit with everyone at the table.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup Alfredo sauce
- 8 oz pasta (penne or rotini works well)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (15 oz) corn, drained
- 1 cup diced tomatoes (optional)
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large pot, cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the taco seasoning and water to the ground beef. Stir and let it simmer for about 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, ground beef mixture, Alfredo sauce, black beans, corn, and diced tomatoes (if using). Mix well.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese and mozzarella cheese evenly over the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped green onions and cilantro (if using).
