Bacon and Egg Breakfast
What Started it all:
Eggs, bacon.
Ingredients
- 8 eggs
- 8 slices of bacon
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
- Lay the bacon slices on the prepared baking sheet.
- Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy.
- Remove the bacon from the oven and transfer it to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess grease.
- In a non-stick skillet, heat over medium heat.
- Crack the eggs into the skillet, being careful not to break the yolks.
- Sprinkle the eggs with salt and pepper.
- Cook the eggs for about 2-3 minutes or until the whites are set but the yolks are still runny.
- Remove the eggs from the skillet and serve alongside the crispy bacon.
- Season with additional salt and pepper if desired.
