Beefy Radish Delight with a Twist!
What Started it all:
Stew Beef, Radish, chocolate chips, frying pan
A hearty, comforting dish that's sure to become a family favorite!
Ingredients
- 1 lb Stew Beef, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 2 large Radishes, peeled and sliced
- 1/2 cup Dark Chocolate Chips (yes, you read that right - chocolate!)
- 1 large Frying Pan
Instructions
- Preheat your frying pan over medium-high heat. Add 1 tablespoon of oil (I like to use olive oil) and swirl it around to coat the pan.
- Add the beef cubes to the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until browned on all sides. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.
- Add the sliced radishes to the pan and cook for 5 minutes, or until they start to soften. You may need to add a splash more oil to the pan.
- Add the dark chocolate chips to the pan and stir to combine with the radishes. Cook for an additional 2 minutes, or until the chocolate has melted and the radishes are coated.
- Add the browned beef back to the pan and stir to combine with the radish-chocolate mixture. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the beef is cooked through.
- Divide the beefy radish delight among four plates and serve hot. You can serve with crusty bread or over mashed potatoes - yum!
This recipe may seem unusual, but trust me, the combination of flavors and textures is absolutely divine! The dark chocolate adds a rich, depth of flavor to the dish, while the radishes provide a nice crunch. And let's be real, who doesn't love a good beefy stew? Give it a try and let me know what you think!
