Bold Lamb and Leek Stew with Dried Fruits

What Started it all:
Lamb, Leek, dried fruits (raisins, apricots), crockpot


  • 2 lbs lamb, cut into cubes
  • 2 leeks, sliced
  • 1/2 cup dried raisins
  • 1/2 cup dried apricots
  • 1 crockpot
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 cups water or broth


  1. Season the lamb cubes with salt and pepper.
  2. In a hot pan, sear the lamb until it's browned on all sides.
  3. Place the seared lamb in the crockpot.
  4. Add the sliced leeks, dried raisins, and dried apricots to the crockpot.
  5. Pour in the water or broth until the ingredients are just covered.
  6. Cook on low for 6-8 hours until the lamb is tender and the flavors have melded together.
