A delicious and satisfying way to start your day, these breakfast nachos are a perfect combination of flavors and textures.


  • 1 bag of tortilla chips
  • 8 eggs
  • 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup of cooked and crumbled breakfast sausage
  • 1/2 cup of diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup of chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup of sliced jalapenos
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Salsa and sour cream for serving


  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Spread the tortilla chips in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  3. In a skillet, scramble the eggs until just set, then remove from heat.
  4. Sprinkle the scrambled eggs evenly over the tortilla chips.
  5. Top with the shredded cheddar cheese, cooked sausage, diced tomatoes, green onions, and sliced jalapenos.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes.
  9. Serve the breakfast nachos with salsa and sour cream on the side.
