British Air Fryer Brisket with Chard and Onions

  • 1.5 kg brisket
  • 1 bunch of chard, chopped
  • 2 onions, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil
  • Herbs of your choice for seasoning


  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the brisket generously with salt, pepper, and your choice of herbs.
  3. Place the seasoned brisket in the air fryer basket and cook for 30 minutes.
  4. After 30 minutes, add the chopped chard and sliced onions to the air fryer basket around the brisket.
  5. Drizzle some olive oil over the chard and onions, and season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  6. Continue to cook for another 20-30 minutes or until the brisket reaches your desired level of doneness and the chard and onions are tender.
  7. Once done, remove the brisket, chard, and onions from the air fryer.
  8. Let the brisket rest for a few minutes before slicing it against the grain.
  9. Serve the tender brisket slices with the flavorful chard and onions.
