British Bacon and Olive Stuffed Peppers

What Started it all:
Bacon olives and pepper


  • 4 large bell peppers
  • 8 slices of bacon
  • 1 cup of pitted olives
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds and membranes.
  3. In a skillet, cook the bacon until crispy, then chop it into small pieces.
  4. Chop the olives into small pieces and mix them with the chopped bacon.
  5. Stuff the bell peppers with the bacon and olive mixture.
  6. Drizzle the stuffed peppers with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  7. Place the peppers in a baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the peppers are tender.
