Ingredients
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 200g ground beef
- 100g firm tofu, cubed
- 1 medium tomato, diced
- 1/2 cup corn (fresh or frozen)
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1 medium carrot, julienned
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the Ingredients: Wash and chop all the vegetables accordingly. Dice the tomato, slice the mushrooms, julienne the carrot, and cube the tofu.
- Cook the Tofu: In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the cubed tofu and cook until golden brown on all sides, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the tofu from the skillet and set aside.
- Brown the Beef: In the same skillet, add the ground beef. Cook until browned and fully cooked through, breaking it apart with a spatula, about 5-6 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
- Add the Aromatics: Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
- Incorporate the Vegetables: Add the broccoli, corn, mushrooms, and carrot to the skillet. Sauté for 3-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.
- Combine Ingredients: Return the tofu to the skillet along with the diced tomato. Pour in the soy sauce and stir well to combine all ingredients. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
- Season and Serve: Season with salt and pepper to taste. If desired, sprinkle with sesame seeds for an extra crunch. Serve hot.
