- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup cheddar cheese
- ½ cup pickles, sliced
- ½ cup diced tomatoes
- ¼ cup diced onions
- ¼ cup ketchup
- ¼ cup mustard
- Fresh lettuce leaves (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
- Add flour, olive oil, and salt to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- In a skillet over medium heat, add ground beef. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Cook until the beef is browned and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes. Drain any excess fat and set aside.
- Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
- Once the dough has risen, punch it down and divide it into two equal portions.
- Roll out each portion into a large circle on a floured surface.
- Place one dough circle on a pizza stone or baking sheet.
- Spread a layer of ketchup and mustard over the base.
- Evenly distribute half of the cooked ground beef over the sauce, followed by half of the mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
- Top with pickles, diced tomatoes, and onions.
- Cover with the second dough circle and repeat the layering process for the second pizza.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
- Once baked, remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh lettuce leaves before slicing.
- Cut into wedges and serve hot!
