Cabbage and Carrot Stir Fry

A quick and easy vegetarian recipe for 2 people.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1 large carrot, sliced into thin strips
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Optional: soy sauce, sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the shredded cabbage and sliced carrot to the pan and stir to combine.
  3. Sprinkle salt, black pepper, and garlic powder over the vegetables and continue to stir occasionally for 5-7 minutes or until the vegetables are tender but still have a slight crunch.
  4. Remove the pan from heat and drizzle a splash of soy sauce over the top if desired.
  5. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and serve hot.
