Cheesy Chicken Bake

A deliciously cheesy and hearty chicken bake that is perfect for a family dinner. This recipe is designed to serve 4 people.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish with olive oil or cooking spray.
- In a shallow dish, mix together the bread crumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, dried oregano, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Dip each chicken breast into the bread crumb mixture, making sure to coat both sides evenly. Place the coated chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese generously over the chicken breasts, covering them completely.
- Drizzle olive oil over the cheese-topped chicken breasts to keep them moist during baking.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is golden and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve hot.
Note: You can serve this dish with a side of mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
