This recipe is a delicious twist on traditional tortilla soup, incorporating the flavors of green chile and cheddar cheese for a comforting and satisfying meal for one.


  • 1 cup tomato soup
  • 2 corn tortillas, cut into strips
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • 1/4 cup diced green chile
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 slices of ham, chopped


  1. In a small pot, heat the tomato soup over medium heat.
  2. Add the corn tortilla strips and diced green chile to the soup and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. In a separate pan, fry the egg to your desired doneness.
