Cheesy Ham and Carrot Fried Rice

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of cooked rice
  • 1 cup of diced carrots
  • 1 cup of diced ham
  • 1 cup of shredded cheese
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat.
  2. Add the diced carrots to the skillet and cook for 5 minutes until slightly tender.
  3. Push the carrots to one side of the skillet and add the diced ham to the other side. Cook for 3 minutes until the ham is heated through.
  4. Add the cooked rice to the skillet and stir well to combine with the carrots and ham.
  5. Cook the rice mixture for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the rice is heated through.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the rice mixture and stir until the cheese is melted and well distributed.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Remove from heat and serve hot.
