This Cheesy Ranch Pork Skillet is a creamy, flavorful dish that combines tender pork with a rich ranch and cheddar sauce. Perfect for a weeknight dinner, it’s easy to prepare and sure to please the whole family.
Ingredients
- 1 lb pork (cut into bite-sized pieces)
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 1 cup cheddar cheese (shredded)
- 1/2 cup half and half
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Olive oil (for cooking)
- Chopped parsley (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat a drizzle of olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the pork pieces with salt and pepper. Add the pork to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the pork from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium and add the sour cream, ranch seasoning mix, and half and half. Stir until well combined and heated through.
- Gradually stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until it melts and the sauce becomes creamy. If the sauce is too thick, you can add a little more half and half to reach your desired consistency.
- Return the cooked pork to the skillet, stirring to coat it in the cheesy ranch sauce. Allow it to simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat everything through and meld the flavors.
- Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley if desired. Serve hot over rice, pasta, or with crusty bread to soak up the delicious sauce.
This Cheesy Ranch Pork Skillet is a delightful and comforting meal that’s quick to prepare and packed with flavor. It's a great way to enjoy pork in a creamy, cheesy sauce that everyone will love. Enjoy your cooking adventure!
