Chicken and Ham Rice

What Started it all:
chicken, rice, ham.


  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 2 cups of rice
  • 200g of ham
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. In a large skillet, heat some oil over medium-high heat and sear the chicken until golden brown on both sides. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the ham and cook until slightly crispy.
  5. Meanwhile, cook the rice according to package instructions.
  6. In a baking dish, spread a layer of cooked rice evenly.
  7. Place the seared chicken breasts on top of the rice.
  8. Spread the ham evenly over the chicken.
  9. Pour any remaining juices from the skillet over the chicken and ham.
  10. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
  11. Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
  12. Serve hot and enjoy!
