  • 4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 8 ounces of pasta (your choice), cooked al dente
  • 1 cup of shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a blend)
  • 1 can of diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup of tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon of dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon of dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking


  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, dried oregano, and dried basil.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Cook the chicken breasts for about 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook for a minute until fragrant.
  6. Add diced tomatoes and tomato sauce to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Simmer the sauce for about 10 minutes until slightly thickened.
  8. Meanwhile, slice the cooked chicken breasts into thin strips.
  9. In a large baking dish, spread a thin layer of the tomato sauce on the bottom.
  10. Add half of the cooked pasta on top of the sauce.
  11. Layer half of the chicken strips over the pasta.
  12. Sprinkle half of the shredded cheese on top.
  13. Repeat the layers with the remaining pasta, chicken, and cheese.
  14. Pour the remaining tomato sauce over the top and sprinkle with breadcrumbs.
  15. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  16. Serve hot and enjoy!
