A delicious and easy recipe for chicken tacos that will satisfy your cravings!
Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 8 small flour or corn tortillas
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 lime, cut into wedges
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the sliced chicken breast to the skillet and season with chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Cook the chicken for 6-8 minutes, or until fully cooked through.
- Warm the tortillas in a separate skillet or in the microwave.
- Assemble the tacos by placing the cooked chicken on the warm tortillas, then topping with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, cheddar cheese, and chopped cilantro.
- Serve the tacos with a dollop of sour cream and a lime wedge on the side.
