This delicious Chinese stir fry is a quick and easy dish that combines ground turkey and fresh green beans with flavorful seasonings. It's a perfect meal for a family of 4 and can be served with steamed rice or noodles.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the ground turkey to the pan and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Remove the cooked turkey from the pan and set it aside.
  4. In the same pan, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil.
  5. Add the green beans and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until they are tender-crisp.
  6. Add the minced garlic and ginger to the pan and stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes.
  7. In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, and chicken broth.
  8. Return the cooked ground turkey to the pan and pour the sauce over the turkey and green beans.
  9. Cook, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens and coats the turkey and green beans.
  10. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot with steamed rice or noodles.
