eggs, bacon

This classic breakfast dish is the perfect way to start your day. With crispy bacon and perfectly cooked eggs, it’s a simple yet satisfying meal that will leave you wanting more.

Ingredients

  • 8 eggs
  • 8 slices of bacon
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Butter, for frying

Instructions

  1. Heat a large non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Add the bacon slices and cook until crispy. Remove the bacon from the pan and set aside on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess grease.
  2. In the same frying pan, melt a generous amount of butter over medium-low heat. Crack the eggs into the pan, being careful not to break the yolks. Season the eggs with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Cook the eggs to your desired level of doneness. For sunny-side-up eggs, cook them for about 2-3 minutes until the whites are set but the yolks are still runny. For over-easy eggs, carefully flip them after 2-3 minutes and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes. For over-hard eggs, cook them for a total of 4-5 minutes until the yolks are fully cooked.
  4. While the eggs are cooking, place the bacon slices on a cutting board and chop them into small, bite-sized pieces.
  5. Once the eggs are cooked to your liking, carefully transfer them to a serving plate. Sprinkle the chopped bacon over the eggs, adding an extra burst of flavor and crunch.
  6. Serve the classic bacon and egg breakfast with your choice of toast, hash browns, or fresh fruit on the side. Enjoy!
