Comforting Indian Bacon and Kale Grill
What Started it all:
Bacon, Kale, canned fish (tuna, sardines), grill
Ingredients
- 8 slices of bacon
- 4 cups of kale, chopped
- 1 can of tuna or sardines
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium heat.
- Lay out the bacon on the grill and cook until crispy, turning occasionally.
- While the bacon is cooking, in a large bowl, massage the chopped kale with a bit of olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
- Once the bacon is crispy, remove from the grill and set aside.
- Place the kale on the grill and cook for 2-3 minutes, until slightly charred and wilted.
- Open the can of tuna or sardines and place them on the grill for 1-2 minutes per side, just to warm through.
- Arrange the grilled bacon, kale, and fish on a serving platter.
- Serve immediately and enjoy this comforting Indian-inspired dish!
