Comforting Tuna and Potato Bake

This dish is a delightful blend of fresh tuna and hearty potatoes, with a touch of yeast for that comforting homemade flavor. It’s a perfect meal to warm your soul and satisfy your hunger.

Ingredients

  • 4 tuna steaks
  • 4 large potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon yeast
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the tuna steaks with salt and pepper, then sear them in a hot pan until golden on both sides.
  3. In a blender, combine the yeast with a pinch of salt and a dash of water to form a paste.
  4. Layer the sliced potatoes in a baking dish, then spread the yeast paste over the potatoes.
  5. Place the seared tuna steaks on top of the potatoes.
  6. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the potatoes are golden and the tuna is cooked to your liking.
