Corn and Tomato Rice

  • 2 cups rice
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup corn kernels
  • Salt to taste


  1. Rinse the rice thoroughly and drain the water.
  2. In a rice cooker, add the rinsed rice and 4 cups of water.
  3. Close the rice cooker and cook the rice according to the instructions.
  4. Once the rice is cooked, open the rice cooker and fluff the rice with a fork.
  5. Add the cherry tomatoes and corn kernels to the rice. Mix well.
  6. Close the rice cooker again and let the rice sit for about 5 minutes to allow the flavors to blend.
  7. Open the rice cooker, season with salt to taste, and gently mix the ingredients once more.
  8. Serve the corn and tomato rice as a delicious side dish.
