Creamy Bacon and Spinach Pasta

What Started it all:

  • 400g of pasta (spaghetti or fettuccine work well)
  • 200g of bacon, chopped
  • 200g of fresh spinach
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil


  1. Start by cooking the pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the chopped bacon to the skillet and cook until it's nice and crispy.
  4. Once the bacon is cooked, add the fresh spinach to the skillet and cook until it wilts down.
  5. Lower the heat and pour in the cream, stirring gently until it thickens slightly.
  6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss everything together until the pasta is coated in the creamy sauce.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve the creamy bacon and spinach pasta in warm bowls, and perhaps sprinkle a little parmesan cheese on top for an extra touch of indulgence.
