- 2 cups elbow macaroni
- 2 1/2 cups water
- 1 cup milk
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- In the rice cooker, combine the macaroni and water. Close the lid and set the rice cooker to 'cook.'
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for about 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Gradually whisk in the milk and continue cooking until the mixture thickens.
- Add the cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and garlic powder to the saucepan, and stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
