Crispy Pork Chops with Leek and Cereal Crust

Ingredients
- 4 pork chops
- 2 leeks, sliced
- 2 cups cereal (crushed)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season the pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat some olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Sear the pork chops for 3-4 minutes on each side until they develop a golden crust.
- Remove the pork chops from the pan and set them aside.
- In the same pan, add the sliced leeks and cook until they soften and caramelize.
- Place the crushed cereal in a shallow dish.
- Dip each pork chop into the crushed cereal, coating both sides generously.
- Transfer the coated pork chops to a baking dish and place them in the preheated oven.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until the pork chops are cooked through and the cereal crust is crispy.
- Serve the pork chops with the caramelized leeks on the side.
