Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate eclair paste
  • 1 pre-made pie crust
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place the popcorn in a food processor and pulse until finely ground.
  3. Press the ground popcorn into the pre-made pie crust to form an even layer on the bottom.
  4. In a saucepan, combine the chocolate eclair paste, heavy cream, sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and salt. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens.
  5. Remove the chocolate mixture from the heat and stir in the unsalted butter until melted and well combined.
  6. Pour the chocolate mixture over the popcorn crust and smooth the top with a spatula.
  7. Bake the pie in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the filling is set.
