Deconstructed Gourmet Bigger Mac for Four

Here's a fun and gourmet twist on the classic Bigger Mac from McDonald's®. This recipe deconstructs the popular sandwich into a plated masterpiece, perfect for sharing with friends or family.
Ingredients
- 4 Bigger Macs from McDonald's®
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 cup finely chopped onions
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 8 slices of pickles
- 1/2 cup Big Mac sauce (or Thousand Island dressing)
- 4 sesame seed buns
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prepare the Mac Components: Carefully separate the Bigger Macs into their individual components: buns, patties, lettuce, pickles, onions, and cheese.
- Toast the Buns: Heat a skillet over medium heat, add a little olive oil, and toast the buns until they are golden brown. Set aside.
- Reheat the Patties: In the same skillet, reheat the beef patties for 2-3 minutes per side until they are warmed through.
- Assemble the Plates: On each plate, place the bottom half of a toasted bun. Add a layer of shredded lettuce and diced tomatoes. Place a beef patty on top of the lettuce and tomatoes. Add a slice of cheddar cheese on top of the patty. Add a few chopped onions and a pickle slice on top of the cheese.
- Drizzle with Sauce: Drizzle approximately 2 tablespoons of Big Mac sauce over each assembled stack.
- Top with Bun: Finish each stack with the top half of the toasted bun.
- Garnish and Serve: Garnish the plates with any remaining lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and pickles. Serve immediately while everything is warm.
