Ingredients
- 4 slices of bread (white, whole wheat, or your choice)
- 8 slices of bacon
- 4 large eggs
- 1/4 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your favorite)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional toppings: chopped green onions, diced tomatoes, or hot sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Using a rolling pin, flatten each slice of bread. Gently press each slice into a muffin tin to form a cup shape.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove from the skillet and let it drain on paper towels. Once cooled, crumble the bacon into small pieces.
- Place crumbled bacon evenly into each bread cup. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top of the bacon.
- Crack one egg into each bread cup on top of the cheese and bacon. Season with salt and pepper.
- Place the muffin tin in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the eggs are set to your liking.
- Carefully remove the breakfast cups from the muffin tin. Garnish with optional toppings if desired.
