Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Spread the almonds and walnuts on a baking sheet and toast them in the oven for 8-10 minutes until they are golden and fragrant.
- While the nuts are toasting, bring a pot of water to a boil and blanch the green beans for about 3 minutes, then immediately transfer them to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process.
- Once the nuts are toasted, allow them to cool, then roughly chop them.
- Tear the lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place them in a large bowl.
- Add the blanched green beans and chopped nuts to the bowl with the lettuce.
- Drizzle the salad with your favorite vinaigrette or dressing, toss to combine, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
