Fiery Hemp Seed Onion Chutney

This bold and flavorful British recipe is a fiery twist on a classic chutney, perfect for adding a punch of flavor to any dish.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup hemp seeds
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- Instant pot
Instructions
- Heat the instant pot on sauté mode and add the hemp seeds. Toast them until they turn golden and aromatic.
- Add the chopped onion to the pot and sauté until it turns translucent and slightly caramelized.
- Pour in the apple cider vinegar and balsamic vinegar. Stir well to combine.
- Lock the lid of the instant pot and set it to pressure cook for 5 minutes.
- Once the pressure cooking is done, allow the pot to naturally release pressure for 10 minutes.
- Carefully open the lid and give the chutney a good stir. If the consistency is too runny, switch the instant pot back to sauté mode and cook, stirring frequently, until it thickens to your desired consistency.
- Transfer the chutney to a serving bowl and let it cool before serving.
