Fresh and Healthy Okra Cottage Cheese Fritters

  • 250g Cottage Cheese
  • 200g Okra, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon yeast
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh coriander for garnish


  1. In a bowl, combine the cottage cheese, finely chopped okra, and yeast. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Mix the ingredients well until they form a thick batter.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Using a spoon, scoop the batter and carefully place it in the skillet, shaping it into small fritters.
  5. Cook the fritters for 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Once done, remove the fritters from the skillet and place them on a plate lined with kitchen paper to absorb any excess oil.
  7. Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot.
