Ingredients
- 4 Mackerel fillets
- 1 pound Okra, trimmed and sliced
- 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup Water
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season the mackerel fillets with salt and pepper.
- Place the sliced okra in the bottom of the crockpot.
- Lay the seasoned mackerel fillets on top of the okra.
- In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise with water to create a sauce, then pour it over the mackerel and okra.
- Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until the mackerel is tender and the okra is cooked through.
- Once done, serve the mackerel and okra hot, with the sauce from the crockpot spooned over the top.
