Grilled Turkey and Fennel Skewers with a Hint of Tea

A Bold and Flavorful Twist on a Classic


  • 1 lb turkey breast, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 bulbs fennel, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 tsp tea leaves (black or green)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a small saucepan, brew the tea leaves in 1 cup of water until the tea is strong and fragrant.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the brewed tea, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add the turkey and fennel to the bowl and toss to coat.
  5. Thread the turkey and fennel onto skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.
  6. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for 8-10 minutes, or until the turkey is cooked through.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh fennel fronds and a sprinkle of tea leaves.
