Ham and Cheese Croissant Recipe

What Started it all:



  • 4 plain croissants
  • 8 oz sliced ham
  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 4 slices of Swiss cheese
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter


  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F
  2. Cut each croissant in half horizontally
  3. Add 2 slices of ham to the bottom half of each croissant
  4. Layer 1 slice of cheddar cheese and 1 slice of Swiss cheese on top of the ham
  5. Place the other half of the croissant on top
  6. Brush the tops of the croissants with butter
  7. Place the croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until cheese is melted and the croissants are golden brown
  9. Let cool for a few minutes and serve warm
