Ham and Cheese Omelette for 4 People

What Started it all:

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.


  • 8 slices of ham
  • 8 eggs
  • 1/4 cup of milk
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup of chopped green onions
  • 2 tablespoons of butter


  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  3. Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Pour half of the egg mixture into the skillet, swirling it around so it coats the bottom evenly.
  5. Place 4 slices of ham on one half of the omelette, followed by 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese and half of the chopped green onions.
  6. Using a spatula, fold the other half of the omelette over the filling and cook for 2-3 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the eggs are cooked through.
  7. Use the spatula to remove the omelette from the skillet and place it in an oven-safe dish.
  8. Repeat steps 4-7 to make a second omelette.
  9. Place the oven-safe dish with both omelettes into the preheated oven for 5-10 minutes or until they are heated through.
  10. Serve hot and enjoy your delicious Ham and Cheese Omelette!
