This delicious ham and cheese omelette is a perfect breakfast or brunch option for a group of 4. It's quick, easy to make, and sure to satisfy everyone's taste buds.
Ingredients
- 8 large eggs
- 1/2 cup diced ham
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- Crack the eggs into a bowl and beat them until well mixed. Season with salt and pepper.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Pour half of the beaten eggs into the skillet and swirl to spread evenly.
- Sprinkle half of the diced ham and shredded cheddar cheese over the eggs.
- Once the edges of the omelette begin to set, gently lift them with a spatula and let the uncooked eggs flow underneath.
- When the omelette is mostly set but still slightly runny on top, fold it in half with the spatula.
- Slide the omelette onto a plate and repeat the process with the remaining ingredients to make the second omelette.
