Ham and Cheese Omelette Recipe

This recipe is perfect for a quick and easy breakfast for four people.

Ingredients

  • 8 eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup diced ham
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Crack the eggs into a medium-sized bowl and whisk until well mixed.
  2. Add the milk, salt, and black pepper and whisk to combine.
  3. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the butter and swirl to coat the bottom of the skillet.
  4. Once the butter is melted and the skillet is hot, pour the egg mixture into the skillet.
  5. Use a spatula to gently lift the edges of the omelette as it cooks, allowing the uncooked egg mixture to flow underneath.
  6. Once the omelette is mostly set, sprinkle the ham and shredded cheese over one half of the omelette.
  7. Use the spatula to carefully fold the other half of the omelette over the top of the ham and cheese.
  8. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the omelette is cooked through.
  9. Slide the omelette onto a plate and cut into four equal portions.
  10. Serve immediately and enjoy!
