Ham and Cheese Omelette Recipe

This recipe is perfect for a quick and easy breakfast for four people.
Ingredients
- 8 eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup diced ham
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tbsp butter
Instructions
- Crack the eggs into a medium-sized bowl and whisk until well mixed.
- Add the milk, salt, and black pepper and whisk to combine.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the butter and swirl to coat the bottom of the skillet.
- Once the butter is melted and the skillet is hot, pour the egg mixture into the skillet.
- Use a spatula to gently lift the edges of the omelette as it cooks, allowing the uncooked egg mixture to flow underneath.
- Once the omelette is mostly set, sprinkle the ham and shredded cheese over one half of the omelette.
- Use the spatula to carefully fold the other half of the omelette over the top of the ham and cheese.
- Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the omelette is cooked through.
- Slide the omelette onto a plate and cut into four equal portions.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
