This delicious and easy ham and cheese omelette recipe is perfect for a quick and satisfying breakfast or brunch for 4 people.


  • 8 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup diced ham
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons butter


  1. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the diced ham to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes until it starts to brown.
  4. Pour the egg mixture over the ham in the skillet.
  5. As the omelette begins to set, gently lift the edges with a spatula, allowing the uncooked eggs to flow underneath.
  6. Once the omelette is mostly set, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over one half of the omelette.
  7. Carefully fold the other half of the omelette over the cheese and cook for another minute to melt the cheese.
  8. Slide the omelette onto a plate and cut into quarters.
  9. Serve hot and enjoy!
