Ingredients

  • 1 pre-made pie crust
  • 1 cup of diced ham
  • 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups of milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Pierce the bottom of the pie crust with a fork then place it in a 9 inch (23 cm) pie dish.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the diced ham and shredded cheddar cheese then pour the mixture onto the pie crust.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the 4 eggs, 1 1/2 cups of milk, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of pepper, and 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the ham and cheese in the pie dish, making sure it's evenly spread.
  6. Bake the quiche for 40-45 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is golden brown.
  7. Remove the quiche from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
