Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 slices of ham
  • 4 slices of Swiss cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place each chicken breast between two sheets of plastic wrap and gently pound to 1/4-inch thickness.
  3. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  4. Place 2 slices of ham and 1 slice of cheese on each chicken breast.
  5. Roll up the chicken breasts and secure with toothpicks.
  6. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium-high heat.
  7. Sear the chicken breasts on all sides until golden brown.
  8. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  9. Remove the toothpicks and slice the chicken before serving.
