This delicious recipe combines the savory flavor of ham with tender chicken and gooey cheese for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 slices of ham
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Toothpicks

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Lay the chicken breasts flat and season with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
  3. Place 2 slices of ham on each chicken breast, then sprinkle a generous amount of mozzarella cheese on top.
  4. Carefully roll up the chicken breasts and secure with toothpicks.
  5. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  6. Sear the chicken rolls on all sides until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  7. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and sprinkle with dried oregano.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Remove the toothpicks and serve the stuffed chicken hot.
