Ham and Pineapple Sandwich

This recipe makes 4 delicious ham and pineapple sandwiches. Perfect for a quick and tasty lunch or dinner!
Ingredients
- 8 slices of bread
- 8 slices of ham
- 1 cup of mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup of pineapple chunks
- Butter or margarine, for spreading
Instructions
- Preheat a frying pan or griddle over medium heat.
- In a separate pan, sauté the sliced mushrooms until golden and soft. Set aside.
- On four slices of bread, layer one slice of ham, followed by a few slices of sautéed mushrooms and some pineapple chunks.
- Top each sandwich with another slice of bread.
- Lightly butter one side of each sandwich.
- Place the sandwiches, buttered side down, onto the preheated pan or griddle.
- Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the filling is hot.
- Remove from the pan and slice each sandwich in half or into quarters.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
