Ham and Pineapple Sandwich

This recipe makes 4 delicious ham and pineapple sandwiches. Perfect for a quick and tasty lunch or dinner!


  • 8 slices of bread
  • 8 slices of ham
  • 1 cup of mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup of pineapple chunks
  • Butter or margarine, for spreading


  1. Preheat a frying pan or griddle over medium heat.
  2. In a separate pan, sauté the sliced mushrooms until golden and soft. Set aside.
  3. On four slices of bread, layer one slice of ham, followed by a few slices of sautéed mushrooms and some pineapple chunks.
  4. Top each sandwich with another slice of bread.
  5. Lightly butter one side of each sandwich.
  6. Place the sandwiches, buttered side down, onto the preheated pan or griddle.
  7. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the filling is hot.
  8. Remove from the pan and slice each sandwich in half or into quarters.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!
