This Ham and Potato Skillet recipe is perfect for a quick and easy weeknight dinner that serves 4 people. It combines the salty goodness of ham with the hearty comfort of potatoes and is sure to satisfy your hunger!
Ingredients
- 2 cups diced cooked ham
- 4 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced
- 1/2 onion, diced
- 3 tbsp. olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. dried oregano
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Heat 3 tbsp. of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add diced onion and sliced potatoes to the skillet, stirring occasionally until potatoes are golden brown and tender (about 10-12 minutes).
- Season potatoes with garlic powder, dried oregano, salt, and pepper to taste.
- Add diced cooked ham to the skillet and continue stirring until ham is heated through (about 3-5 minutes).
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the mixture and cover the skillet with a lid until cheese is melted.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
