Ham and Rice Stir Fry

This quick and easy stir-fry recipe combines the savory flavor of ham with the comforting texture of rice. It’s a perfect dish for a delicious and satisfying meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of cooked rice
  • 1 cup of diced ham
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the diced ham to the skillet and cook until lightly browned.
  3. Add the sliced bell pepper, chopped onion, and minced garlic to the skillet. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  4. Add the cooked rice to the skillet and stir to combine with the ham and vegetables.
  5. Drizzle the soy sauce and oyster sauce over the rice mixture. Stir well to evenly distribute the sauces.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Continue to stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through.
  8. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
