Ham and Rice Stir-Fry
What Started it all:
rice, ham, onion.
This delicious and easy-to-make stir-fry combines the flavors of ham, rice, and onion for a satisfying meal for four people.
Ingredients
- 2 cups of cooked rice
- 1 cup of diced ham
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the diced ham and cook until lightly browned, about 3-4 minutes.
- Remove the ham from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the sliced onion and cook until softened and slightly caramelized, about 5 minutes.
- Add the cooked rice to the skillet and stir to combine with the onion.
- Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the rice is heated through.
- Return the cooked ham to the skillet and stir to combine with the rice and onion.
- Cook for another 2-3 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
