Ingredients
- 8 slices of bread
- 8 ounces of sliced ham
- 8 ounces of sliced turkey
- 4 tablespoons of butter
- Optional: cheese slices, mustard, or your favorite sandwich toppings
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
- Spread 1 tablespoon of butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- Place 4 slices of bread, buttered side down, in the skillet. Layer each with 2 ounces of ham and 2 ounces of turkey. Add cheese if desired, and top with the remaining slices of bread, buttered side up.
- Cook for about 3-4 minutes or until the bottom is golden brown. Carefully flip the sandwiches and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the other side is golden and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the skillet and let cool for a minute before slicing in half. Serve with your favorite toppings or sides.
