This hearty beef and vegetable rice dish is a comforting and satisfying meal for four. It combines tender stewing steak with a medley of vegetables and fluffy rice for a delicious and wholesome dinner.


  • 1 cup rice
  • 2 carrots, diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 green onions, sliced
  • 1 lb stewing steak, cut into cubes


  1. In a large pot, heat some oil over medium heat and brown the stewing steak cubes.
  2. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent.
  3. Stir in the diced carrots and continue to cook for a few minutes.
  4. Add the rice to the pot and mix well with the other ingredients.
  5. Pour in enough water to cover the ingredients and bring to a boil.
  6. Reduce the heat, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the rice is cooked and the beef is tender.
